I was trained as an editorial designer at the School of Visual Arts and graduated into a recession, which honestly turned out to be the best creative education I could have asked for. You figure out fast how to be useful in every room.
Somehow I ended up at one of the biggest advertising agencies in the world, which is where the strategic and copywriting side of my brain woke up. Turns out there really is something to Art and Copy.
Today I'm a Creative Director in New York. 15 years in and I still get genuinely excited about a new creative challenge and finding the right people to solve it with.
Outside of work I paint and shoot on a Fuji. Having a creative life outside work keeps me connected to why I started making things in the first place.
